Training Courses
Discover the variety of massage and reflexology courses I offer at my practice on rue du Beulet in Geneva, or at the Migros Club School. Each option is designed to enhance your skills in well-being and natural care. Courses are adapted to all levels, whether you are a complete beginner or already a professional in the field.
Massaging should never cause pain or exhaustion!
I have met many people who were highly motivated at first, but quickly gave up their passion due to weakness and pain building up in their arms, wrists, and hands.
Since then, my approach has radically changed. Inspired by 24 years of practice and the world of dance, the first part of my training focuses on an essential technique: mastering your body leverage and using your body weight effortlessly to release all tension in your arms, forearms, and hands. This is the key to lasting in this profession and massaging with pure pleasure.
My fluency in French, English, Spanish and Italian allows me to teach the following courses in any of these languages.
The Secret to Effortless Massage: Working with Your "Frame"
To massage for hours without ever tiring your arms or legs, you must master one key concept: your frame.
Behind this technical term lies a very simple idea. The "frame" is the solid, unified block formed by your torso, shoulders, and arms. When you massage, this block becomes unyielding. Your arms no longer move independently; they are completely locked in with your torso.
To easily visualize this, think of a rolling pin:
Your arms and hands are the rolling pin: They are firm, solid, and placed on the client, but they make no muscular effort to push.
Your torso and legs are the baker: It is the weight of the baker leaning forward that flattens the dough.
When you massage, you are the baker, not the rolling pin. The pressure comes from transferring your body weight, not from the strength of your biceps.
Why is this vital for you?
Zero fatigue: Arm muscles tire out quickly. Your body weight, however, is free and limitless.
Safety: You instantly protect your wrists, elbows, and shoulders from injuries and strain.

Back, Neck, Arms, Forearms, and Hands Massage
Back pain and neck tension have become common ailments. This course invites you to discover a relaxing massage protocol focused on the back and the shoulder girdle (the group of bones that connects the upper limbs—the arms—to the trunk and the lower limbs—the forearms and hands).
Learn to relieve tension in these key areas using precise techniques that combine light stroking, kneading, and appropriate pressure. You’ll also learn proper body mechanics to work effortlessly and safely. Essential for enhancing your practice, relieving tension caused by computer work or poor posture, or for caring for your loved ones.
This course places a strong emphasis on anatomical safety: you’ll learn to identify areas requiring caution, adjust pressure according to each person’s body type, and avoid movements that cause pain. You’ll leave with the confidence needed to massage fluidly, gently, and without unnecessary strain.
What You’ll Learn (Program Details)
The Back (Anatomy & Overall Relaxation):
Master broad effleurage strokes to induce relaxation from the very beginning.
Locate and relieve tension in the trapezius muscles (upper body between the neck and shoulders), as well as other muscles often strained by stress and prolonged movement.
Use specific kneading techniques to release muscle knots along the spine, without ever touching the bony structures.
Shoulders and neck (Tension Release):
Apply gliding pressure and gentle stretches to release blockages in the cervical region.
Release the shoulder girdle (upper back) to restore mobility and lightness to this area.
Adopt the right rhythm to relieve tension headaches as needed.
Arms, forearms, and hands (Relaxation of the extremities):
A lot of tension builds up in these often-overlooked areas, and my clients often tell me they didn’t realize they had all that tension.
Practice targeted techniques and pressure on the arms, forearms, hands, and fingers to relax muscles overworked by computer use.
Ergonomics & the Massage Therapist’s Posture (Take Care of Your Body):
Discover the art of massaging using your own body weight rather than the strength of your arms.
Master the placement of your hands, wrists, and points of contact on the floor to prevent fatigue.
Adopt fluid and dynamic postures to perform a sequence of movements without causing yourself any residual pain.
